Design four ocean-inspired resin coasters in a relaxed Maui studio with island music, tropical fruit, and warm aloha hospitality.

About this tour

Bring a little piece of Maui home by creating ocean-inspired art at Kai Luna Creations. In this 90-minute Maui Ocean Resin Coaster Class, you’ll design a beautiful set of four coasters in a boutique studio known for its warm aloha hospitality. Island music, tropical fruit, and drinks and snacks add to the relaxed atmosphere, and you can bring your own beverages if you like. Other project options are also available. Find the studio at the green and white house on the corner of Baldwin Ave and Anohou St. Park on Anohou St by the bamboo gate and “Art Class” sign, then follow the short path to your welcome. The class is suitable for all physical fitness levels, though it is not recommended for pregnant travelers. Make time for a creative break on Maui and leave with a handmade souvenir inspired by the island’s ocean.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.71 from 7 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
