Explore Maui’s waterfalls, beaches, and hidden gems on a private Road to Hana tour in a comfortable, customized Ford Expedition.

About this tour

See Maui beyond the usual stops on a private Road to Hana adventure, where waterfalls, spectacular beaches, hidden gems, and local food bring the island to life. With an experienced guide and private transportation, you can take in the scenery in comfort rather than traveling in a crowded bus or driving a rental car yourself.

Your ride is a customized, lifted Ford Expedition, equipped with a panoramic glass sunroof, leather reclining seats, and climate control. Bottled water and soda or pop are provided, along with parking and landing and facility fees. The tour description promises a look at Maui’s natural beauty and lesser-known places, though specific stops and timing are not listed.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.99 on Viator and 4.77 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui

Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.5. Top 1% in Maui means it ranks in the top 1% of tours in Maui by this score.
