Cruise Maui’s sunset aboard the Pride of Maui with Hawaiian hula, live music, an open bar, and a freshly prepared island-style dinner.

About this tour

Set sail from Maalaea Harbor as the Maui sunset paints the sky in warm island colors. This 120-minute Maui Sunset Dinner Cruise pairs a cocktail-hour atmosphere with Hawaiian music, live hula, and a freshly prepared dinner aboard the Pride of Maui, described as Maui’s most spacious and stable catamaran.

Watch passionate dancers share Polynesian traditions through movement, song, and interaction, then settle in for island-style baby back ribs, shoyu chicken, roasted vegetables, coconut-roasted sweet potatoes, and lilikoi cheesecake. An open bar with micro-brewed beer and blended drinks is included, and a restroom is available on board. During whale season, typically December through April, sightings are possible.

Plan to arrive 30 minutes before departure and leave extra time for late-afternoon traffic on the way to the harbor. Transportation is not provided, and parking nearby costs $3 per hour, payable by credit card. Choose the Maui Sunset Dinner Cruise for an evening of ocean views, island flavors, and live cultural entertainment.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.51 from 769 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 4.7.
