Cruise from Murrells Inlet in search of wild dolphins, with 360-degree views, expert wildlife insights, and hydrophone listening when conditions allow.

About this tour

Set out from Murrells Inlet for a 90-minute search for wild dolphins, with open views of the coast and the salt marsh estuary. This Murrells Inlet Dolphin Watch Cruise uses a custom-built vessel designed for wildlife viewing, with individual forward-facing seats and 360-degree views for up to 40 passengers.

Cruise through the inlet toward the ocean, then follow the coastline in search of dolphins and other marine life. Guides share information about dolphin behavior, local wildlife, and the coastal environment. When conditions allow, the crew lowers a hydrophone to listen for dolphin vocalizations. On the return, learn about the salt marsh estuary that shapes this stretch of South Carolina coast. Morning departures generally have calmer sea conditions, which can make wildlife easier to spot.

Check in at the Crazy Sister Marina office for your boarding pass, then settle in and keep watch across the water. Choose this Murrells Inlet Dolphin Watch Cruise for an engaging, educational outing on the coast.

How the score works and rating distribution in Myrtle Beach
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 41% in Myrtle Beach means it ranks in the top 41% of tours in Myrtle Beach by this score.
