About this tour
Step into the bright lights and big stories of New York’s Times Square Theatre District on a walking tour inspired by Glee and Smash. Over two hours, explore iconic Broadway theaters and landmarks while hearing how performers made their mark on the stage.
Learn about Lea Michele, who originated the role of Wendla in Spring Awakening, and Megan Hilty, who appeared in 9 to 5: The Musical. The tour meets outside the Broadway Theatre at 1681 Broadway and is wheelchair accessible. Food, drinks, hotel transfers, gratuities, and souvenir photos are not included; photos may be available to purchase.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in New York City
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 49% in New York City means it ranks in the top 49% of tours in New York City by this score.
