About this tour

See Central Park from the easygoing seat of a pedicab, where famous landmarks and tucked-away corners unfold along the way. This private New York Central Park Pedicab Tour pairs a scenic ride with a guide who brings the park’s history and culture to life through engaging stories and local insights.

Pass celebrated sights such as Bethesda Fountain, Strawberry Fields, Belvedere Castle, and The Mall, while also discovering lesser-known spots across the park’s 843 acres. Photo stops give you time to capture the scenery, and the ride offers fresh air and views of the city skyline. With a private experience, you can enjoy a more personal journey and ask questions as you explore. The tour requires at least two travelers; meet your driver-guide in front of Starbucks between 57th and 58th streets.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.98 on Viator and 4.94 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in New York City
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.7. Top 1% in New York City means it ranks in the top 1% of tours in New York City by this score.
