See Two Strangers on Broadway, a funny, heartfelt New York story of an upbeat Brit, a practical local, and unexpected second chances.

About this tour

See Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), a New York Times Critics’ Pick that brings laughter, escape, and fantasy to Broadway. Dougal, an upbeat Brit visiting New York City for the first time, is headed to the wedding of the father he has never met. Robin, the bride’s practical sister, has a long list of errands, including collecting the groom’s estranged son from the airport. Their unlikely meeting sets off a journey through the city, family secrets, and the possibility of second chances.

This 135-minute Broadway performance pairs sharp humor with a warm story about connection. Watch two very different people find their way through New York together, with surprises along the way. The Boston Globe called the show “Irresistible! Clever, funny, and delightfully surprising!”

Book your New York Two Strangers Broadway ticket and enjoy a lively night of theater in the heart of the city.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 7 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in New York City
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 27% in New York City means it ranks in the top 27% of tours in New York City by this score.
