Cruise New York Harbor past the Statue of Liberty and iconic skyline landmarks, with daytime and evening departures from Pier 36.

About this tour

See New York from the water on a Statue of Liberty sightseeing cruise departing from Pier 36. With the skyline rising around the harbor, this 60-minute voyage offers a memorable way to take in the city’s landmarks and capture photos from a fresh perspective.

Cruise along the East and Hudson Rivers, choosing a spot on the spacious outdoor decks or inside the cabin. Get close to the Statue of Liberty, then look for the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, Brooklyn Bridge, and other harbor sights. Onboard narration shares context about New York’s landmarks and history as the city unfolds around you.

Choose the 60-minute daytime cruise or, when available, a 90-minute evening departure to see the skyline after dark. A full cash bar and light snacks are available for purchase onboard. The cruise does not land on Liberty Island, so you can enjoy the statue and harbor views without an island visit.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 2.14 from 6 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in New York City
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.7.
