Save Merlin’s cursed school in a private Palm Springs escape room game filled with magical objects, clever puzzles, and a secret study.

About this tour

Merlin’s Magic School is in trouble: a talent show mishap has cursed the entire school, and your team is the only one that can set things right. In this 60-minute Palm Springs escape room game, search for Merlin’s hidden spell book and uncover the clues needed to lift the curse.

Experiment with magical objects, enlist help from a magical creature, and work your way into Merlin’s secret study. The game is private for your group, so you can focus on the puzzles together without being paired with strangers. Palm Springs escape room game fans can enjoy a story-led challenge that welcomes all fitness levels and is wheelchair accessible.

Bring the whole team, wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, and see if you can save the school before time runs out.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.99 from 280 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Palm Springs
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.4. Top 2% in Palm Springs means it ranks in the top 2% of tours in Palm Springs by this score.
