Unwind with cacao, a nature walk, and a restorative sound bath in Pioneertown’s open-air boulder cave.

About this tour

Find a quieter rhythm in Pioneertown with a sound bath set among the dramatic boulders of an open-air cave. This 2.5- to 3-hour experience begins around a wood-burning fire, where you can take part in Sage and Palo Santo smudging, set an intention, enjoy hot ceremonial cacao, or try Heart Chakra breathwork.

Then follow your guide on a nature walk to the sound bath setting. Settle in as a range of instruments fills the cave with layered tones, from a Mega Bass Didgeridoo and Tibetan and crystal singing bowls to ocean and thunder drums, chimes, tuning forks, rain sticks, bells, and Native flute. The private gathering is designed for 4 to 7 participants, with no mixed groups, creating space to focus on relaxation, restoration, and renewal.

Meet at Pappy and Harriet's Restaurant and Venue, where your guide will lead the way to the cave. Choose this Pioneertown Boulder Cave Sound Bath for a restorative pause in a striking desert landscape.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
