Explore Monet’s gardens, water lily pond, and Japanese Bridge on a private Giverny visit with a licensed guide and hotel pickup.

About this tour

Discover the gardens that shaped Claude Monet’s artistic world on a private visit to Giverny. An air-conditioned minivan takes your group from your hotel to the village, where a licensed guide accompanies you through Monet’s celebrated gardens.

Admire the vivid flower beds, then wander around the water garden and its famous Japanese Bridge, wisterias, azaleas, and pond. These scenes inspired Monet’s Water Lilies paintings and offer a glimpse of the landscapes he transformed into art. Your garden ticket is included, along with hotel pickup and return.

Guiding is not permitted inside Monet’s house or workshop, so you’ll explore those spaces independently after your guide shares the information you need. With a private group of up to 8 passengers and a total duration of 270 minutes, this Giverny private garden tour offers a personal way to experience the artist’s home and surroundings. Reserve your visit and see the gardens through Monet’s eyes.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
