About this tour

Travel from Paris by private car to Giverny, where Claude Monet made a home and garden that shaped his artistic life. This Paris Claude Monet House Tour takes you through the painter’s house, workshop, and park, among the flowers that inspired his work. Monet settled in Giverny in 1883 and remained there until his death in 1926.

Continue to the medieval church of Giverny, where Monet is buried. The route also passes through Vétheuil, another place where he lived. If possible, make an additional stop at the troglodyte church of Haute-Isle, carved into a cliff above the Seine valley. Hotel or Airbnb pickup is offered, and a Japanese-speaking live guide accompanies the visit. Your ticket and all fees and taxes are included; lunch is not.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.33 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
