Explore Rouen’s medieval streets and Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey on a guided Normandy day trip with private transportation from Paris.

About this tour

Trade Parisian streets for Normandy’s medieval lanes and tidal landscapes on a private day trip to Rouen and Mont-Saint-Michel. Travel from Paris by private vehicle, with a driver, and begin in Rouen, where a local expert leads a group walking tour through the city’s historic center. See its Gothic character and discover connections to Joan of Arc before continuing toward the island abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel.

At Mont-Saint-Michel, join a guided group tour of the abbey, with entry tickets included. You’ll also have free time to explore the village at your own pace. Bottled water is provided, while lunch is not included, so plan to arrange your own meal during the day. The combination of private transport and guided visits offers a comfortable way to experience two of Normandy’s best-known historic destinations in one outing.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.00 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
