Escape Paris for Monet’s Giverny gardens and house, with round-trip luxury coach travel and a guided or audio-guided garden visit.

About this tour

Trade Parisian streets for the gardens that shaped some of Claude Monet’s most beloved paintings on this half-day escape to Giverny. After a roughly one-and-a-half-hour coach ride, explore the artist’s flower-filled gardens, water lily pond, and Japanese bridge, then enjoy free time inside his house. A guided or audio-guided garden visit is available, depending on your selected option, and admission to the house and gardens is included.

This Paris Giverny and Monet's House trip pairs the ease of round-trip luxury coach transportation with time to take in the details at your own pace. Inside Monet’s home, discover a remarkable collection of Japanese engravings; outside, follow the paths and pond that inspired his work. The audio app offers 10 languages, while a licensed guide is available with the guided option. High-season visits can be busy, with queues especially likely in the morning.

Make room in your Paris itinerary for a vivid encounter with the landscapes behind the art. Book your Paris Giverny and Monet's House trip and see the gardens through Monet’s eyes.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.12 from 1,458 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 2.9.
