Explore Rouen’s cobbled lanes and Monet’s Giverny gardens on a private day trip from Paris with a professional driver-guide.

About this tour

Trade Parisian streets for the storybook lanes of Rouen and the gardens that inspired Claude Monet. On this private 9-hour day trip, travel with a professional driver-guide to discover two memorable Normandy destinations.

In Rouen, stroll cobbled streets lined with half-timbered houses and take in the city’s sumptuous cathedral. Then continue to Giverny to explore Monet’s house and gardens. See the flower-filled Clos Normand and the water garden, where the Japanese bridge creates the scene that inspired the artist. Skip-the-line access and priority admission help you spend more time exploring, while private, air-conditioned transport keeps the day comfortable.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.71 from 7 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
