Travel from Paris to Giverny for free time among Monet’s gardens, water lily pond, Japanese bridge, and historic home.

About this tour

Step into the gardens that inspired Claude Monet’s celebrated paintings on this Paris Giverny Gardens entrance ticket with transport. Travel from Paris by air-conditioned coach, then enjoy free time to explore the artist’s home and gardens at your own pace. A multilingual tour escort is included, but the visit itself is not guided or audio guided.

Follow paths through vivid flower beds to the water lily pond and its Japanese-inspired bridge, familiar from works such as Water Lilies, The Japanese Bridge, and The Irises. Inside Monet’s pink-plastered house, discover the blue reading room, his studio, and a collection of Japanese engravings. After exploring, browse the village shop for books, reproductions, tableware, or flower seeds. The experience lasts 330 minutes, and high-season crowds may mean queues, particularly in the morning.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.97 from 37 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.5.
