Travel from Paris to Monet’s Giverny home and gardens with a private guide, round-trip car transport, and a two-course local lunch.

About this tour

Leave Paris behind for a private visit to Giverny, where Claude Monet’s gardens and home bring his artistic world into view. With a private guide, explore the flower beds, winding paths, and water garden, then pause by the Japanese bridge and lily pond that inspired some of his best-known paintings.

Step inside Monet’s house to see its colorful rooms and studio, and hear how life in Giverny shaped his vision. The visit also includes private round-trip transportation from Paris by car and a relaxed two-course lunch at a local restaurant. If you’d like to continue exploring the movement, you can add an optional visit to the Museum of Impressionism.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 49% in Paris means it ranks in the top 49% of tours in Paris by this score.
