Travel from Paris to Monet’s Giverny home and gardens on a guided small-group trip, with time to see the church and his grave.

About this tour

Leave Paris behind for a small-group visit to Giverny, where Claude Monet lived and painted for the last 40 years of his life. Travel by air-conditioned minivan with an expert guide and chauffeur, then explore the artist’s home and gardens at a relaxed pace. The group is limited to eight, offering a more personal way to experience this celebrated corner of Normandy.

Your visit also takes in quieter local landmarks, including Monet’s grave and Giverny’s church. The tour lasts 270 minutes and includes admission. Paths are gravel and there are steps, so independent walking is important; dress for the weather, as the trip operates in all conditions. Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure, since the tour starts promptly and late arrivals cannot rejoin the group.

Choose this Paris Giverny Small-Group Trip for an intimate look at the landscapes behind Monet’s art. Book your Paris Giverny visit and spend a memorable half day among the gardens and village sights that inspired him.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.76 from 2,008 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.6.
