Travel from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel for an Abbey tour and a Calvados tasting at a local Normandy producer.

About this tour

Spend a full day traveling from Paris to the tidal island of Mont Saint-Michel, where medieval lanes rise toward the Benedictine Abbey. This small-group excursion combines an Abbey visit with a taste of Normandy’s celebrated apple spirit.

Travel in an air-conditioned Mercedes with adjustable seats. At the Abbey, join a guided tour led by an English-speaking local guide and explore the landmark’s historic setting. The day also includes a stop at a local Calvados producer, where you can hear how the spirit has been made for centuries and sample the genuine article. Bottled water, Abbey admission, and the guided tour are included.

The group is limited to 4–7 people. Hotel pickup is available when booked; otherwise, meet at the steps of the Opéra Garnier near Opéra Metro station. Choose this Paris Mont Saint-Michel Abbey tour for a day of island history and Normandy flavor, then reserve your place for the journey.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.25 from 36 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.8.
