Explore Mont Saint-Michel’s medieval lanes on a full-day trip from Paris, with round-trip coach transport and an optional abbey visit.

About this tour

Leave Paris behind for a full-day journey to Mont Saint-Michel, the striking island abbey rising above Normandy’s coast. After traveling by air-conditioned coach, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace, with an English-speaking tour leader accompanying you throughout the day. Mont Saint-Michel’s medieval lanes wind past historic stone houses, shops, and cafés, while the island’s dramatic setting offers memorable views at every turn.

Choose the abbey option to include admission and a self-guided audio app. Download the app before departure, then explore the remarkable medieval monument and its halls and terraces at your own pace. A free shuttle connects the coach parking area with the town, though seasonal waits may occur; the walk takes about 40 minutes each way. Comfort stops are included on the journey to and from Paris.

This Paris Mont Saint-Michel day trip pairs independent island exploration with convenient round-trip transport. Select the abbey option if you want to add an audio-guided visit, and set out for a memorable day on the Normandy coast.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.71 from 4,076 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.2.
