About this tour

Trade a long bus ride for a swift journey by high-speed train on this Paris Mont Saint-Michel day trip. A private driver picks you up at your hotel and takes you to the station for the train to Rennes, where a car or minivan continues to the island. Once there, explore Mont Saint-Michel independently with an audio guide and included admission to the abbey, with around four hours to take in its medieval lanes and landmark architecture at your own pace.

The day includes private transfers between your hotel and the Paris train station, round-trip train tickets between Paris and Rennes, transportation from Rennes to Mont Saint-Michel, and driver-guide assistance. The listed itinerary departs Paris at 8:13 a.m., reaches Rennes at 9:57 a.m., and returns to Paris at 7:58 p.m. Train rates are tied to specific schedules, so changing the timetable may affect the price.

See one of France’s most memorable sights without spending the day on a bus. Book your Paris Mont Saint-Michel day trip and enjoy a comfortable, independently paced visit.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.50 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
