About this tour

Trade Paris streets for Normandy’s medieval lanes and dramatic coastline on a day trip to Rouen and Étretat. Private round-trip transportation from your Paris accommodation makes it easy to explore both destinations in one outing, with bottled water provided along the way.

In Rouen, join a guided group walking tour through the historic center. See Rouen Cathedral, timber-framed houses, and the Gros-Horloge, and visit the place associated with Joan of Arc’s trial and execution as your local guide shares stories of the city’s past. Then continue to Étretat for free time by the sea. Walk along the beach, take in the white chalk cliffs and natural rock arches, or pause at a local café with a coastal view. Lunch is not included, so you can choose where to eat during your day.

This Paris Normandy day trip pairs guided history with time to enjoy the coast at your own pace. Book your Paris Normandy day trip to discover Rouen and Étretat in one memorable journey.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
