About this tour

After dark, Reno’s neon glow gives way to stories of mob intrigue, vanished locals, and restless spirits. On this 2-hour Reno Ghost Walking Tour, follow a seasoned guide through the city’s shadowy history and hear the tales behind its notorious past.

Explore Reno’s red-light district, once a gathering place for mobsters and gangsters, and investigate the disappearance of Roy Frisch, a cashier who knew too much. Your guide also shares stories of gangs, a famous hijacking, and the Mapes Hotel, where the legacy of three famous deaths still lingers. Along the way, discover how Reno’s glamorous reputation sits beside a history marked by crime and tragedy.

The walk meets outside Lake Mansion, across from Great Basin Community Food Co-Op. Arrive 15 minutes early and look for your guide’s US Ghost Adventures T-shirt and lantern. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.21 from 14 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Reno

Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.4.
