Richmond Ghost Walking Tour in Church Hill 1.5 hr

As evening settles over Richmond’s oldest residential neighborhood, Church Hill’s historic streets take on a different character. On this Richmond Ghost Walking Tour, follow a guide through a landscape of old architecture, storied landmarks, and tales of the people said to linger in the city’s past.

Meet your guide at Patrick Henry’s Pub and Grille, then set out on foot through Church Hill. Along the way, hear accounts of Richmond’s haunted history and see the neighborhood’s distinctive buildings, shaped by more than two centuries of change. The route includes an exterior view of St. John’s Church, known for the “Give me liberty, or give me death!” speech, and its graveyard, where notable figures from Richmond’s past are buried.

The 1.5-hour walk offers a vivid way to connect local ghost stories with the history behind the landmarks. Bring your questions for the guide, and enjoy the neighborhood’s bars and restaurants after the tour. Book your Richmond Ghost Walking Tour to explore Church Hill’s history after dark.
