Explore Verona’s historic sights, then wander lakeside Sirmione with the option to cruise across Lake Garda on a day trip from Milan.

About this tour

Discover Verona’s romantic landmarks and Lake Garda’s scenic shores on a full-day trip from Milan. In Verona, join a guided walking tour through the historic center and see Juliet’s balcony, the Roman amphitheater, Piazza Mercato, and other notable sights. After the walk, enjoy free time to explore independently or find lunch at a local cafe.

Continue to Sirmione, a picturesque town set on a narrow peninsula in Lake Garda. Stroll beneath its medieval castle and take in views across the water. You can also choose to join a boat cruise on Lake Garda for an extra cost. An air-conditioned vehicle connects the destinations, while a professional guide brings context to the day’s discoveries.

This 12-hour outing pairs Verona’s history with Sirmione’s lakeside atmosphere. Book your Milan day trip to experience two memorable Northern Italian destinations in one journey.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.57 from 221 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.5.
