About this tour

Trade Rome’s busy streets for the vivid colors and coastal scenery of southern Italy on a full-day escape to the Amalfi Coast. Travel by air-conditioned coach with an English- or Spanish-speaking guide, depending on your selected option, and enjoy free time in Positano. Your choice of tour shapes the next stop: visit Amalfi, with the option to cruise there from Salerno, or continue by land to Sorrento. A limoncello tasting at a local factory adds a flavorful pause to the day.

This Rome Amalfi and Positano day trip includes round-trip coach transport and onboard Wi-Fi. The cruise is included only with the Positano and Amalfi with Cruise option; it is not part of the Positano and Sorrento option. Meet your City Wonders representative at Piazza del Popolo, then settle in for the journey, with comfort stops along the way. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.45 from 1,225 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 4.3.
