Explore Rome’s landmark-filled streets by electric golf cart, with a live guide, photo stops, and panoramic views from Pincio Terrace.

About this tour

See Rome’s celebrated landmarks from the comfort of an electric golf cart on this 3-hour guided tour. With a licensed guide at the wheel, you can cover the historic center with less walking and enjoy time to pause for explanations and photos along the way.

Starting at Piazza del Popolo, the route passes Castel Sant’Angelo and St. Peter’s Square before continuing to the Mouth of Truth and Circus Maximus. Take in the Colosseum and Arch of Constantine, then see Piazza Venezia and the Altar of the Fatherland. The journey also includes the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona, before ending near Trinità dei Monti with views from Pincio Terrace and a drive through Villa Borghese. Monuments are viewed from outside, and travel time is part of the experience.

A guide, golf cart transportation, and headsets when required are provided. Meet outside the Leonardo da Vinci Museum entrance at Piazza del Popolo 11, and let Rome’s streets and grand squares unfold around you on this Rome Ancient Rome Golf Cart Tour.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.66 from 221 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.0.
