Run through Rome’s Parco degli Acquedotti, admire seven ancient aqueducts, and enjoy a relaxed mix of exercise and history.

About this tour

Explore Rome’s Parco degli Acquedotti on a guided running tour through one of the city’s most evocative green spaces. Set within the Appia Antica Regional Park, this 240-hectare landscape offers a striking backdrop for a relaxed blend of movement and history.

As you run, admire seven monumental Roman aqueducts that once supplied the city. This is not a race, and beginners are welcome; the experience brings sport and culture together at an easygoing pace. A professional guide leads the way, with a headset and radio to help you follow along. Look for the guide carrying the ArcheoRunning sign at the meeting point.

Discover a different side of Rome on this 60-minute Aqueduct Park running tour. Book your place and enjoy the ancient engineering and open green scenery along the route.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.88 from 8 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2. Top 40% in Rome means it ranks in the top 40% of tours in Rome by this score.
