Explore Bernini, Raphael, and Caravaggio on a guided Borghese Gallery visit with priority entrance and a small group of 15.
About this tour
Step into Rome’s Borghese Gallery, where Bernini’s marble figures seem to move beneath frescoed ceilings and gilded moldings. This 2-hour Borghese Gallery Guided Tour pairs priority entrance with an expert guide, so you can focus on the art rather than the ticket line.
Meet your guide outside the gallery, collect a headset, and begin on the ground floor with Bernini’s Rape of Proserpina. Continue to Apollo and Daphne and David, then head upstairs to see paintings by Raphael and Caravaggio, including Young Sick Bacchus and Boy with a Basket of Fruit. Along the way, your guide shares the stories behind the works and the myths that inspired them. The group is limited to 15 visitors, making it easier to follow the commentary and take in the details.
The Borghese Gallery Guided Tour includes admission and a live English-speaking guide. Some artworks may be away on loan or temporarily inaccessible during maintenance. Reserve your place and experience Rome’s celebrated collection up close.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.85 from 291 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.6. Top 22% in Rome means it ranks in the top 22% of tours in Rome by this score.
