Explore Bernini, Caravaggio, and other Italian masters at Rome’s Borghese Gallery on a two-hour visit with an optional small-group guide.

About this tour

Step into Rome’s Borghese Gallery, where Bernini’s sculpted figures and the vivid paintings of Italian masters fill elegant rooms with stories. This two-hour experience brings you face to face with works by Bernini, Caravaggio, Canova, Raphael, and Titian.

With the guided tour option, a licensed guide leads a small group of up to 15 visitors through the collection, sharing context and commentary as you explore. Begin among the gallery’s celebrated sculptures, then continue upstairs to see paintings by the masters. The visit also introduces lesser-known works alongside the best-known highlights. An entrance ticket is included; the guide and guided tour are included when that option is selected.

Choose this Rome Borghese Gallery Guided Tour for a closer look at the art and the stories behind it. Meet outside the main entrance and arrive early to find your coordinator. Make time for the masterpieces and discover the collection at a thoughtful pace.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.88 from 188 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.9. Top 15% in Rome means it ranks in the top 15% of tours in Rome by this score.
