Explore Rome’s Doria Pamphilj Gallery on a private guided tour, with masterpieces by Caravaggio, Raphael, Titian, and Velázquez.
About this tour
Step inside the Doria Pamphilj Gallery, where centuries of art fill the rooms of a historic Roman palace. This private 120-minute tour brings you face to face with works by Caravaggio, Raphael, Titian, Velázquez, and other celebrated artists.
Explore the gallery’s four wings with a professional guide. The paintings follow an arrangement described in an 18th-century document, organized with an eye for symmetry and, in some cases, shared style or subject. Your guide helps bring this distinctive display to life as you move through the collection at a private pace.
Meet in front of the museum entrance, where your guide will hold a sign with your name. Tickets and a local guide are included; hotel pickup and private transportation are not. Discover the Doria Pamphilj Gallery on a private Rome tour and enjoy a closer look at the art and its remarkable setting.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 31 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.3. Top 9% in Rome means it ranks in the top 9% of tours in Rome by this score.
