Explore Ancient Rome by private electric tuk tuk, taking in iconic sights and city views with an audio guide and weather covers.

About this tour

See Rome from the open-air comfort of a private electric tuk tuk. This 180-minute ride makes it easy to reach the main points of interest in Ancient Rome and take in the city’s breathtaking views, without the effort of getting around on foot. An audio guide shares curiosities about the Eternal City as you travel, while protective side covers help keep the ride comfortable in rain or wind. Meet your driver at Piazza Barberini, in front of the cinema, and settle in for a relaxed way to explore. The tuk tuks operate rain or shine, with blankets provided in winter. They have no trunk, so leave suitcases and bulky packages behind. Arrive on time: delays shorten the experience and may affect the route, and a delay of more than 15 minutes cancels the activity without a refund. Choose this Rome Electric Tuk Tuk Tour for a convenient, private ride between memorable sights and city views.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.79 from 42 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
