Explore Rome’s monuments, squares, and fountains by golf cart, with relaxed stops and a route through quieter back streets.

About this tour

See Rome from a fresh perspective on a 3-hour golf cart tour that trades busy main roads for quaint back streets. With an English-speaking driver-guide, travel between classical monuments, lively squares, and ornate fountains while enjoying a more relaxed way to explore the city.

The route winds through colorful side streets and quieter lanes, away from traffic, noise, and fumes. At each stop, take time to admire the surroundings, explore the area, and walk inside buildings where permitted. The tour begins outside Piazzale delle Canestre in Villa Borghese, next to PicNic Caffe, where your driver will be waiting with the golf cart.

A Rome golf cart tour makes it easy to take in the city’s varied sights without simply passing them from the road. Meet your guide at the starting point and discover Rome’s landmarks and tucked-away streets at an unhurried pace.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 23 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.1. Top 12% in Rome means it ranks in the top 12% of tours in Rome by this score.
