See Rome’s landmarks by private vehicle, then explore the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with a licensed guide on this four-hour tour.

About this tour

See Rome’s ancient heart and celebrated landmarks on a private four-hour tour that pairs a panoramic city drive with a guided walk through the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. A licensed guide brings the city’s history into focus as you travel by private luxury vehicle with a professional chauffeur, then explore the archaeological sites on foot.

Your Forum Pass SUPER covers the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Imperial Fora, and selected SUPER sites, subject to availability. The House of Augustus and House of Livia may be among the sites open during your visit, though access depends on daily capacity and closures. The Colosseum is viewed from outside only, with historical commentary; entry is not included. After the guided portion, you can remain in the Forum and continue exploring independently until closing time. The route may change with traffic and logistics, and the tour operates rain or shine. Expect moderate walking over uneven ground.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 48% in Rome means it ranks in the top 48% of tours in Rome by this score.
