Take in Rome’s ancient landmarks from the Vittoriano rooftop, visit two museums, and explore the city by open-top bus for 24 hours.

About this tour

See Rome from above, then explore its streets at your own pace. This Rome Panoramic Glass Elevator and Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour begins with a 25-minute multimedia introduction to Ancient Rome at the local partner’s office, a short walk from the Vittoriano. Download the city audio guide before crossing Piazza Venezia to the monument dedicated to Victor Emmanuel II.

Ride the panoramic glass elevator to the rooftop for sweeping views of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. Your ticket also grants entry to the Venezia Palace Museum and Museum of the Risorgimento. At the meeting point, collect your open-top bus ticket and use it for 24 hours to travel around the city, listening to the audio guide as you go. The package combines landmark views, museum visits, and flexible sightseeing without a guided tour or pickup.

Start your Rome Panoramic Glass Elevator experience at Piazza d'Ara Coeli, 16, and make the most of a day above and around the Eternal City.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
