About this tour

See the Vatican’s celebrated art and explore Rome on a flexible bus ticket. This Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel experience begins at the Touristation office on Viale Vaticano 97, where staff will help you redeem your voucher and collect your reserved ticket. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked time.

With skip-the-line access, explore the Vatican Museums at your own pace, from ancient Roman sculptures to Renaissance masterpieces. Then step into the Sistine Chapel to take in Michelangelo’s intricate frescoes and the remarkable scale of this iconic space. Your ticket also includes 24 hours on a hop-on hop-off bus, so you can travel around Rome and get off at attractions along the route. An audio guide is available on the bus; an audio guide for the museums and chapel is not included.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.50 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
