Travel from Rome to Pisa on a private day trip, admire the Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli, then return to your hotel.

About this tour

Leave Rome behind for a private day trip to Pisa, where the Leaning Tower rises above the bright marble monuments of Piazza dei Miracoli. Your driver picks you up at your central Rome hotel and takes you north through the green Tiber Valley and across the Apennine foothills into Tuscany.

In Pisa, admire the famous Leaning Tower, see the Baptistery and Duomo, and take photos around the square. Your English-speaking driver shares local stories, history, and tips along the way, then leaves you free to explore the sights at your own pace. Drivers cannot enter museums or archaeological areas, and attraction admission is not included. After your visit, settle in for the return journey to your Rome accommodation. Groups of up to four travel by sedan; groups of five to eight use a minivan. Choose this Rome Pisa day trip for a comfortable journey and time to experience the city’s landmark sights.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
