Travel privately from Rome to Positano and Naples, with coastal views, independent time in Positano, and two hours to explore Naples.

About this tour

Set out from Rome for a private day among the coastal scenery of Positano and the lively streets of Naples. With hotel pickup and private transportation, you can leave the city behind and enjoy the journey in an air-conditioned vehicle, with an English-speaking driver at your disposal.

Pause along the way for coffee or snacks before reaching Positano, where you’ll have free time to explore independently. Then continue to Naples for two hours among the city’s streets, with a guide there to help you discover its character. The 11-hour outing accommodates up to seven passengers: groups of up to three travel in a comfortable car, while groups of four to seven use a 7-seater SUV. Hotel drop-off brings the day to a convenient close.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3. Top 35% in Rome means it ranks in the top 35% of tours in Rome by this score.
