About this tour

Explore Rome from the open-air comfort of a private electric golf cart, slipping through narrow old streets and taking in the atmosphere of the Eternal City. This 3-hour Rome Private Golf Cart Tour combines major sights with scenic lanes that reveal everyday Roman life.

Your route is flexible, so you can choose what you would most like to see. The guide shares historical insight as you travel, and you can request stops where possible or take photos from the cart. The vehicle can bring you close to landmark entrances, making the experience a practical way to cover more ground with less walking. Groups of more than seven passengers receive headsets, with the guide speaking through a microphone.

Meet at the provider’s office near the Vatican Museums entrance, or finish at a requested location within the cart’s operating range. Book your Rome Private Golf Cart Tour for a relaxed, personalized way to discover the city.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.94 from 161 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.6. Top 7% in Rome means it ranks in the top 7% of tours in Rome by this score.
