Explore Rome by scooter with a private guide, short walking stops, and stories of the city’s history, art, and culture.
About this tour
See Rome from the back of a scooter on a private tour led by Alberto, the scooter’s owner and your guide. Designed for one client at a time, this ride pairs city views with short walks and stories that bring Rome’s history, art, and culture to life.
Meet at the central obelisk in Piazza del Popolo, then set off through the city. At stops along the way, hear about Rome’s seven kings, the statues of St. Peter’s Basilica, the history of the Jewish Ghetto, and the gladiator battles at the Colosseum. The tour starts at 9:00 AM and runs on select Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wear comfortable clothes, and note that museum and Colosseum entrance tickets are not included.

How this score is calculated
This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.
How the score works
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
