About this tour

Explore ancient Rome on a private 3-hour Roman Forum and Palatine Hill tour, led by a licensed guide. With the Forum Pass SUPER included, you can discover the ruins that shaped Roman public life and visit selected archaeological sites when access is available. Your guide brings the Forum and Palatine Hill to life with historical context, while external viewpoints offer a striking look at the Colosseum and its place in the wider landscape. The Colosseum is viewed from outside only, with no entry included. Access to sites such as the House of Augustus and House of Livia depends on daily availability and capacity limits. After the guided portion, you can continue exploring the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill independently until closing time. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1. Top 48% in Rome means it ranks in the top 48% of tours in Rome by this score.
