Fly from Rome for a full day in Sicily, choosing a route through Catania and Taormina or Palermo, Mondello Beach, and Corleone.

About this tour

Trade Rome’s streets for a full day discovering Sicily, with round-trip flights and transfers arranged from your Rome accommodation. This Rome Sicily Day Tour offers two itinerary choices: explore Catania, Taormina, and Giardini Naxos, or visit Palermo, Mondello Beach, and Corleone, known as a setting for The Godfather. In Sicily, an English-speaking driver takes you between the destinations in an air-conditioned, insured, and licensed vehicle. The private option includes a licensed local guide and can be customized when requested at booking. Prefer to share the experience? The shared tour accommodates up to 8 travelers and follows a set itinerary. A personal assistant is available at Rome airport to help with departure check-in, and transfers connect your accommodation with the airport. Food and drinks are not included, so plan to arrange meals during the day. Choose your preferred route and discover Sicily on a Rome Sicily Day Tour built around a long, memorable day away from the capital.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
