Skip the admission lines and explore the Vatican Museums, Raphael Rooms, and Sistine Chapel with a convenient priority access ticket.

About this tour

Make more of your time in Rome with priority access to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. A pre-booked ticket helps you skip the admission lines and head inside to explore one of the world’s most visited cultural sites.

Wander through the Vatican Museums at your own pace, taking in the Greek Cross Room, Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, Raphael Rooms, Pinecone Courtyards, and Pio Clementino Museum. The collections grew over centuries through acquisitions, donations, commissions, and discoveries from underground Rome. Your ticket also grants access to the Sistine Chapel, where you can admire its celebrated art.

This 3-hour visit offers a convenient way to experience the Vatican’s remarkable galleries without a live guide or audio guide. Choose the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel priority entrance ticket and spend your time among the art, not waiting in line.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.67 from 12 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.4.
