About this tour

Discover the Vatican’s celebrated art and sacred spaces on a 180-minute guided visit in Rome. With a licensed local guide leading the way, explore the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel while learning the stories behind their remarkable collections. Skip-the-line entry helps you spend less time waiting and more time taking in the experience.

Headsets make it easier to follow your guide, and entry to St. Peter’s Basilica is included when the basilica is open. This small-group tour brings key Vatican sights together in one visit, with an English-speaking live guide. Remember to arrive 15 minutes early, bring identification that matches your booking, and wear clothing that covers your knees. How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.75 from 20 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.0.
