Ride through Rome as a Vespa passenger while your driver-photographer captures 25 keepsake photos at iconic city landmarks.

About this tour

See Rome from the back of a Vespa, with a professional photographer at the handlebars. This passenger-only ride pairs the city’s lively streets with keepsake photos of your time among its celebrated landmarks.

Your driver-photographer takes you past the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Castel Sant’Angelo, the Orange Garden, Belvedere del Gianicolo, and Fontana dell’Acqua Paola. Along the way, take in Rome’s historic scenery and lesser-known corners without having to navigate the streets yourself. A helmet and hygienic cap are provided, and your driver uses a Sony Alpha 7 IV to capture 25 photos of the experience.

A live guide speaks English, and free cancellation is available. This ride is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries or those who are pregnant. Settle in as a passenger and discover Rome’s landmarks from a fresh perspective on this Vespa tour with a photographer.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.82 from 22 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1.
