About this tour

Discover the Val d'Orcia on a private journey through Tuscany's celebrated hills, medieval towns, and wine country. With a private driver and guide, travel in comfort from your accommodation or cruise ship to Montepulciano, Pienza, and other scenic corners of the region.

Along the way, admire historic monuments and visit traditional wine producers with ancient cellars. You can enjoy a tasting served with authentic local food, then choose to unwind at a natural thermal bath and pool filled with hot water. The thermal bath stop must be requested before the tour, and seasonal availability can vary. Bottled water and an air-conditioned vehicle add comfort to this full-day outing; lunch is not included.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
