About this tour
See the Vatican’s celebrated art and architecture on a Vatican City Museum and Sistine Chapel Tour, led by an English-speaking guide. Skip-the-line entry helps you spend less time waiting and more time taking in the collections and Michelangelo’s famous ceiling. The provider says the visit takes place before regular opening time, offering a chance to explore in a quieter setting.
Your guided visit includes entrance to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, with entrance fees covered. A no-line entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica may also be available if the basilica remains open. Meet your group 15 minutes before the start; the meeting point is near public transportation, and strollers are suitable for infants and small children.
Choose this Vatican City Museum and Sistine Chapel Tour for a guided introduction to two of the Vatican’s best-known sights. Book your visit and experience their remarkable art and history with an expert guide.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.50 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
