Explore the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica with a private guide and convenient hotel pickup.

About this tour

See the Vatican’s celebrated art and sacred spaces on a private tour designed to make your visit feel smooth from the start. With private hotel pickup and a dedicated guide, you can avoid the stress of finding the meeting point and focus on the treasures ahead.

Spend three hours exploring the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Fast-track Vatican Museums tickets help you make the most of your time, while your private guide provides personal attention throughout the visit. St. Peter’s Basilica is an active parish and may close unexpectedly for spiritual celebrations. If that happens, an alternative time or itinerary may be offered; if not possible, your museum visit may be extended. Some areas may also close for special events, and partial closures do not qualify for a refund.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.11 from 19 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.2.
