About this tour

See two of Rome’s most celebrated cultural landmarks with a reserved-time ticket to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. The Vatican Museums draw visitors from around the world, and queues can be long. This ticket provides skip-the-line entry to the museums, though security screening is still required.

Arrive at the meeting point at least 20 minutes early and collect your ticket with help from on-site staff. Then explore the Vatican Museums and visit the Sistine Chapel at your own pace. Your ticket is for 8 AM; the entry time may shift by up to 30 minutes depending on availability. Tickets are delivered digitally by email or WhatsApp. No guide or audio guide is included, leaving you free to shape your visit around the works and spaces that interest you most.

Plan ahead: confirmed tickets cannot be changed or refunded, and the Sistine Chapel may close without notice for religious events. Book your Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel entry ticket to make time for these remarkable collections during your Rome visit.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 3.22 from 87 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 4.3.
