Skip the ticket line, travel by private transport, and explore the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel at your own pace with an audio guide.

About this tour

Step into the Vatican Museums through a VIP entrance and leave the ticket line behind. This 3-hour Vatican Museums VIP entry and audioguide experience pairs private transportation to the entrance with the freedom to explore at your own pace.

Once inside, follow the audio guide through the Hall of Maps, the Gallery of Tapestries, and the Gallery of Candelabra, then pause in the Pinecone Courtyard. The visit concludes in the Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo’s celebrated frescoes fill the ceiling. With skip-the-line tickets and private transport to the entrance, you can focus on the art and architecture rather than the journey there. Discover the Vatican Museums with an audio guide, then take your time among the galleries and the Sistine Chapel. Book your Vatican Museums VIP entry and audioguide experience for a more convenient visit.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.61 from 23 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.6.
